Created in 1887, and aged for an average of 15 years in old Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez oak casks, Cardenal Mendoza is an exceptional Sherry Brandy.
A Solera Gran Reserva (a term reserved for brandies aged for more than 10 years), it is smooth, balanced and winey with notes of dry fruits and plums.
Dark mahogany, glistening, round and persistent.
Cardenal Mendoza Clásico, a Solera Gran Reserva Sherry Brandy is made using the best holandas (wine spirits) and stills, and aged following the traditional procedures known as “Solera y Criaderas”. The Cardenal Mendoza casks, previously used to age Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez, constitute one of the most important reserves of Solera Gran Reserva, guaranteeing the brandy age and quality.
