Luis Pérez Samaruco Red Wine from Andalusia.

Samaruco is the name given in Sanlúcar de Barrameda to the zone where the best king prawns come from, it was also the name given by Luis Pérez’s grandfather to the small room where he kept his fishing nets, therefore the name for this wine, pampered by the winery starting with the grapevines. A blend of Syrah, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo, aged for 12 months in French Oak Casks in the Vistahermosa estate, between Jerez and Trebujena, surrounded by hilly vineyards of “albariza”. Unfiltered and unclarified, it is ready to be enjoyed after a year.

Presents a cherry-red colour, vivid and bright. On the nose it is intense and perfumed, with a clean expression of brandied cherries, spices, aromatic herbs, cocoa, graphite and truffle. In the mouth, it is characterized by its strength and persistence, with hints of chocolate.

Pairs well with legume stews, roasted vegetables, game meats and nuts. With desserts it matches well with quince and chocolate.
