Despite the difficulty of peeling chestnuts (anyone who has not done it, should try it) and the necessary patience to cook them without breaking more than half of them, subsequently slowly waiting for the syrup to reach the thread stage, the final result of all those steps filled with lots of patience and pride achieves as a reward one of the greatest sweet delicatessen that can be enjoyed nowadays.
